  Incredibly rude experience. Based on service alone, I would give this "0" stars. In all fairness though, we left before eating, so we will never know if the food was any good or not. On arrival, we looked past the dirty, dingy, run-down building in hopes that the food would be amazing, like many hole-in-the wall establishments. We even had a friendly greeeting when we walked in the door...but things went downhill from there. Between her horrid hacking cough fits, the hostess interrupted the placement of our order multiple times to criticize our decisions. The last straw was when we told her we wanted the order to go. She huffed, rolled her eyes, slapped her hand on the note pad, and proceeded to lecture us on how she needed to write the order on white paper instead of pink paper for go to orders. We can handle abrasive attitudes, but we have both worked in the food service industry, and extreme rudeness is just unacceptable. We promptly left and enjoyed breakfast at a much friendlier place.

  Wow. I like trying out of the way mom and pop places, but unfortunately what you see is worse than what you get! The lady taking our order was very rude and and seemed bothered because I asked for a western omelet with sausage. She became more irritated when I asked for the order "to go" and said that she had to write the order on another ticket. She explained that they do things "different" and I couldn't agree more! Their prices are high and the hand written menu on the wall has something about "our food cost as gone up 300% so we have to add .99 to every order". I can't believe this place has so many positive reviews. TERRIBLE! Their sign says they voted #1 breakfast in Mississippi! There's no way.

  The food tasted good until....there was greasy hair in my home fries!! I let the waitress know but they only gave me a gift card for free fries at the next visit. Needless to say, I won't be returning. The place is NOT clean. The cooks do not wear hair nets. The tables and chairs were dusty. I usually love "hole in the wall" restaurants but I the lack of cleanliness didn't set well with me. Their meats come from Winn-Dixie (per the waitress). The hours of operation change depending on the crowd for that day. I had the "Philly cheese steak" which was sliced roast beef with cheddar cheese on a bunch and the home fries with the cook's hair in them.
